GGCP–IIC Seminar on Pharmaceutical Patenting and Public Health Access

GGCP, in collaboration with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), successfully organized a seminar on “Pharmaceutical Patenting in India: Problem of Access to Public Health”
on 09 January 2026.

The session was delivered by Dr. Parikshet Sirohi, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Law, who provided valuable insights into the intersection of intellectual property rights and public health challenges in India.
The seminar enriched participants with a deeper understanding of pharmaceutical patents, legal frameworks, and their implications for equitable healthcare access.
